Jamie Campbell Bower hints at a “completely insane” Season 5 of ‘Stranger Things’, saying it will be “out of control.”

Fans should brace themselves for an even more thrilling and shocking experience in the upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things. Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Henry Creel/Vecna in the popular Netflix series, shared some hints about what viewers can expect in the next season during an interview on iHeart’s I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario.

“If you thought last season was crazy, this season is even more wild and out of control. It’s just bonkers. It’s bigger and completely insane,” he told the podcast host in a clip obtained exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter. “I felt like the events in the last season were easy to follow, but this time around, I’m struggling to figure out what’s going on.” He explained that the last time he rediscovered a character while filming was during the Twilight saga, but he had a similar experience with Henry Creel/Vecna in The First Shadow, with some help from the Stranger Things play in London.

The First Shadow is set in 1959 and features younger versions of characters like Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), Bob Newby (Sean Astin), and Jim Hopper Jr. (David Harbour). The play begins when new student Henry Creel moves to Hawkins, Indiana, where “his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach,” according to the logline.

“It’s just continually building,”actor Bower remarked about the progress of Stranger Things season five. He also mentioned the play in London, which delves into the character Henry before his appearance in season four. He found watching the play to be quite enlightening, as it provided answers to many questions he had about the character and offered new insights.

The actor, known for his role in Harry Potter, also expressed his excitement about the elevated level of detail in the show’s final installment, finding it intellectually stimulating as an artist.

Although a lot of filming for Stranger Things season five has taken place since production began in January, Bower disclosed that there is still much more to be done. Therefore, it seems likely that fans will have to wait a while longer before they can embark on the “wild” journey to The Upside Down themselves.
