Vertical Entertainment has recently unveiled the latest trailer for Elevation, a film that reunites Anthony Mackie with director George Nolfi, with whom he previously collaborated on The Banker and The Adjustment Bureau. Morena Baccarin from the Deadpool franchise also stars alongside Mackie. The film, scripted by John Glenn, Jacob Roman, and Kenny Ryan, is set in a post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains, where a single father and two women venture from the safety of their homes to confront monstrous creatures in order to save the life of a young boy.
In addition to Mackie and Baccarin, the cast includes Maddie Hasson and Danny Boyd Jr. The film was produced by Nolfi, Mackie, and Glenn, along with Brad Fuller, Alex Black, Jeremy Kipp Walker, and Joel Viertel. The financing was provided by Alex Black’s production company, Lyrical Media. Executive producers include Jon Rosenberg and Alex Ginno of Fuller’s company Fuller Media, Natalie Sellers of Lyrical, and Jason Spire of Inspire Entertainment, while Ryan and Roman served as co-producers.
Peter Jarowey, a partner at Vertical, expressed excitement about the distribution deal, highlighting the film’s exceptional quality and cinematic scope. George Nolfi also shared his enthusiasm, emphasizing the challenging locations and action scenes that were filmed to enhance the theatrical experience of the movie.
Elevation is scheduled for release in theaters on November 8th.
