The first trailer for Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming movie “Mickey 17” has been released, offering a glimpse into a sci-fi dark comedy featuring multiple Robert Pattinsons. The movie follows the story of Mickey, an “expendable” employee on a mission to colonize the ice world Niflheim. The trailer depicts Mickey’s repeated deaths in the pursuit of scientific research, as well as his encounter with his own “Multiple” self, leading to a fight for survival.

“Mickey 17” is Bong Joon-ho’s first movie since the critically acclaimed “Parasite” in 2019. The film is based on the novel “Mickey7” by Edward Ashton, and Bong Joon-ho also wrote the script. Alongside Robert Pattinson, the cast includes Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette, and Naomi Ackie.
