Although Stranger Things concluded last year, Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour are set to reunite on a new project.
During a live recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast with host Josh Horowitz, Brown revealed that she and Harbour already have “concrete” plans to work together again, adding that the collaboration will arrive “sooner than expected.”
When asked for more details, Brown remained tight-lipped, saying, “Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home.”
Brown also spoke about several projects she is developing with Netflix, describing it as her “home studio.” These include the third Enola Holmes film, the romantic comedy Just Picture It alongside Gabriel LaBelle, and the television series Prism, which she said is currently on hold while she works through scheduling commitments.
Returning to the topic of her upcoming collaboration with Harbour, Brown confirmed that the project is progressing quickly.
“It’s sooner than expected,” she said. “And it’s David’s idea, so kudos to him.”
The announcement comes months after widespread speculation about the pair’s relationship following an unverified report published in November 2025 that alleged Brown had filed a workplace complaint against Harbour before production began on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The report claimed an internal inquiry was conducted after Brown raised concerns about Harbour’s behavior, while also noting that the allegations did not involve sexual misconduct.
The claims sparked extensive discussion online, prompting fans to closely examine the actors’ public appearances and interviews. Although Brown, Harbour, and Netflix did not publicly respond at the time, the show’s creators addressed the speculation during the final season’s Los Angeles premiere.
Ross Duffer said the cast had become like family after working together for a decade and emphasized the importance of maintaining a workplace where everyone feels safe and supported.
Earlier this month, Harbour publicly addressed the rumors for the first time. He acknowledged there had been occasional disagreements between himself and Brown but described them as a normal part of a long-standing working relationship.
“It’s a show that went on for 10 years,” Harbour explained. “We worked together during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. Like any family or close friends who spend that much time together, you occasionally have disagreements.”
He added that outside attention had amplified what was ultimately a routine conflict.
“It was just a simple rupture-and-repair situation,” Harbour said. “Once we spoke directly to each other, everything was fine. We adore each other and always have.”
Brown also reflected on their relationship, explaining that their creative partnership evolved throughout the series.
“Obviously I changed so much from Season 1 to Season 5, and David was there through all of it,” she said. “Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively. Working together for so many years allowed us to challenge each other emotionally in scenes.”
She concluded by expressing gratitude for their shared experience, saying that despite the series ending, she will always value the years they spent working together.
