Meet the New Cast Members of the ‘The Office’ Follow-Up Show.

The upcoming TV series set in the world of The Office has added Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, and Ramona Young to the cast. The series, a workplace comedy produced by The Office co-creator Greg Daniels and Michael Korman, will follow the employees of a failing Midwestern newspaper and will be filmed in a mockumentary style similar to that of The Office. The series has also previously cast Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore as primary employees at the newspaper.

Melvin Gregg has appeared in shows such as Snowfall and American Vandal, and Chelsea Frei’s previous work includes Sideswiped and The Last O.G. Ramona Young has starred in movies like Blockers and Unpregnant and has been a series regular on shows like Never Have I Ever and Legends of Tomorrow.

Steve Carell has stated that he won’t be involved in the new series, although he is excited about the concept. The series’ connection to The Office universe leaves the door open for potential crossovers, and several previous cast members have maintained connections to the original show, including hosting podcasts and participating in reunions.
