‘Warrior’ Series Cancelled – Star Confirms Shocking News.

Despite Netflix acquiring non-exclusive streaming rights, Warrior will not be coming back for a fourth season. Joe Taslim expressed his gratitude for the show’s impact and its loyal fanbase despite the cancellation.

The series, set in late 1870s San Francisco during the Tong Wars, follows the journey of Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy in search of his sister. Warrior is based on a concept by Bruce Lee, with his daughter Shannon Lee serving as an executive producer.

Cinemax ordered a second season, which premiered in 2020, before shutting down production of original programming. In 2021, Warrior moved to Max, with the third season premiering in 2023. However, in December 2023, the show was reportedly cancelled at Max, and despite Netflix acquiring streaming rights, there are no plans for a fourth season.

All three seasons of Warrior are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
