The official synopsis for “Bad Monkey” describes the plot, which follows the character Andrew Yancy, played by Vince Vaughn. Yancy, a former Miami police officer who is now a health inspector in the Keys, comes across a case involving a human arm found by tourists. He sees this as an opportunity to prove a murder and get back into law enforcement.

The series also features a talented cast, including Michelle Monaghan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Alex Moffat, L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, and Ronald Peet. The upcoming Apple TV+ lineup for 2024 includes the adaptation of the novel “Lady in the Lake,” an AI-focused series titled “Sunny,” and “Hollywood Con Queen,” in addition to “Bad Monkey.” The highly-anticipated “Bad Monkey” is set to debut on August 14 on Apple TV+.
