With so many amazing titles on the way, March is shaping up to be a great month for moviegoers. 2023 has already seen amazing movie releases in January and February. In March, theaters should see audiences of all genres.
March has everything from thriller to action, and fantasy to horror. We will be treated to several series from the main franchise, which also includes contributions from the DC Extended Universe.

1) Creed III
Creed III is slated to hit theaters across the United States in the first week of March. The action film is the ninth installment in the Rocky series and will mark the debut of director Michael B. Jordan.

Creed III will be the first movie in a long list of Rocky movies that will not feature Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. After three months of postponement of the release date, fans are eagerly awaiting the ring. Creed III is slated to hit theaters on March 3, 2023.
2) Scream VI
Scream is one of the most popular slasher movie series that has been running for over 25 years now. The franchise has had five films to date, as well as an anthology series that aired for three seasons. Paramount Pictures is set to release the sixth installment of the franchise, Scream VI, on March 10, 2023.
The film will see the return of original cast members such as Courtney Cox, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, and Hayden Panettiere reprising their roles. New faces will include the likes of Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, and Tony Revolori.
Scream VI follows the events of the last film and revolves around the survivors. The four remaining members of Ghostface’s raid travel to New York in hopes of starting anew. However, their new life takes another turn when a new killer Ghostface appears and begins to haunt them.
3) Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Warner Bros. He is also slated to bring his latest film offering to the DCEU franchise. Shazam! Wrath of God is a sequel to the 2019 movie, Shazam!, and will coincide with the 12th DCEU movie.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film’s cast includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Rachel Zegler, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Melen Mirren, and Djimon Hounsou in important roles.
Shazam! The wrath of the Gods rages around Billy Batson and his adopted family of siblings who has acquired the magical powers of the wizard Shazam. When the three daughters of Atlas, Hesperia, Kalypso, and Anthea descend on them to defeat them and rob them of their power, Shazam must fight to prevent them from destroying his family and the world.
Shazam! Wrath of God hits theaters in IMAX 3D on March 17, 2023.
4) John Wick: Chapter 4
The title of John Wick is one of the most popular movie series in recent times from the house of Lionsgate. John Wick: Chapter 4 will be the final installment in the series and will bring back Keanu Reeves as the unstoppable mercenary, John Wick. The film will also feature an ensemble cast that includes A-list actors such as Laurence Fishburne, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Ian McShane, Natalia Tena, and others. John Wick: Chapter 4 hits theaters on March 24, 2023. John Wick: Chapter 4 will continue after the events of John Wick: Parabellum. The film will follow Wick as he discovers a way to defeat the High Table, a council of crime lords who rule the underworld. However, he faces a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe, which turn even his old friends into enemies.
5) Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Dungeons & Dragons has been a very popular board game for over 50 years now. Fantasy music has recently seen a resurgence in popularity with many references to series such as The Big Bang Theory and Stranger Things. Paramount Pictures has remade the film trilogy released between 2000 and 2012, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, set in the Forgotten Realms campaign.
The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the film with Michael Gilio. The film’s cast includes famous actors such as Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Regé-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis, Justice Smith, and Jason Wong, among others.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is set to hit theaters on March 31, 2023.
