In a recent interview, Matarazzo expressed his enthusiasm for the project and the opportunity to voice a character in the “Star Wars” universe.
Matarazzo described the experience of using only his voice for the role as a challenging yet freeing acting exercise that allowed him to focus solely on his vocal performance. His character, Sig, is portrayed as a happy-go-lucky individual who finds himself caught up in an unexpected adventure within the “Star Wars” universe.
While Matarazzo is currently filming the final season of “Stranger Things,” he has expressed interest in pursuing future projects in theater and potentially collaborating with director Boots Riley.
