Michelle Pfeiffer’s astonished look in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Marketing for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third and final installment in the Ant-Man trilogy, has finally picked up speed for its February release. Marvel has released new images and more details about the upcoming blockbuster that answers many of the questions fans have about the next part of the MCU. A new image revealed by Michelle Pfeiffer, 64, gives us a great look at the Quantum Realm and her character Janet Van Dyne. Fans can’t stop talking about how cute she is!

In the new footage, Pfeiffer’s character, Janet, is seen in profile, with two other characters flanking her. Her gray hair was parted to the side and she wore a gold drop ring. For makeup, Pfeiffer opted for a smoky lip and eyeliner that accentuated her gray eyes. Behind it, we see a blue quantum tunnel. We know that most movies in the MCU are color coded. Some fans want to know what the blue hue means in the Quantum Realm. Janet would have disappeared into the Quantum Realm before returning to Ant-Man and the Wasp. Pfeiffer said about her character, “The Quantum Realm can change people and you can have another life there. It’s something she doesn’t want to talk about.” Janet warned Scott about it before she disappeared into the Quantum Realm for five years. But fans have long suspected that Janet has some kind of connection with Kang, and it seems that and the trailer and they are right.

Kang is the supposed villain of this movie and another part of the MCU. Marvel director Kevin Feige reveals the movie, “It’s about how this family of five deals with this environment and the new reality of what their mother/grandmother went through.”

Besides Pfeiffer, the film stars Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily as Wasp/Hope Van Dyne, and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. New characters are introduced in the film, including Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, and Bill Murray as King Krylar Corey Stoll who appeared in the first Ant-Man movie as -Opposite, Darren Cross (Yellowjacket), returns to a new role as MODOK. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on February 17.
