In a meeting with The Hollywood Journalist distributed on Tuesday, Walk 28th, 2023, ViacomCBS President Chris McCarthy affirmed that the supposed Matthew McConaughey-drove spin-off of the well known series is pushing ahead.
This will be the most recent side project propelled by Taylor Sheridan’s series — went before by the prequel 1883 featuring Tim McGraw and Confidence Slope; the Helen Mirren and Harrison Passage drove prequel, 1923; and 6666.
McCarthy added that the Paramount+ series will go on whether star Kevin Costner returns.
While McCarthy revealed no further insights about the impending task, he let THR know that the establishment “wouldn’t be what it is today without Kevin and we trust that that stays from now into the indefinite future.”
As per Cutoff time, McConaughey, 53, was supposedly in converses with star in a Yellowstone spin-off in February as Costner, 68, was thinking about leaving the show to zero in on coordinating and featuring in the forthcoming Western film Skyline.
McConaughey stars in the series as John Dutton, the patriarch and proprietor of Montana’s biggest farm as he explores struggle inside his own family and with the lining Broken Rock Indian Reservation, public park and designers.
