Jeremy Renner, 53, had to evacuate his home in Reno, Nevada due to a dangerous wildfire, known as the Davis Fire. He took to Instagram to share scenes of the fire and express his gratitude to the firefighters.
The uncontained Davis Fire, which originated in the Davis Creek Regional Park in the Washoe Valley, had spread to about 10 square miles (26 square kilometers) within a short time. Governor Joe Lombardo issued an emergency declaration for Washoe County, resulting in the evacuation of approximately 20,000 people from various areas.
Despite the evacuation, parts of south Reno remained under the notice, with some locations experiencing power outages. This incident comes after Renner’s recovery from a near-fatal accident at his Reno home in early 2023, where he suffered serious injuries after being run over by a snowplow.
