Emmanuel Macron has made a commitment to ensure that the popular Netflix series “Emily in Paris” continues to be set in the French capital. This decision comes after the latest series depicted Lily Collins’ character, Emily, embarking on a romantic adventure in Rome, leading some to speculate that the show might permanently relocate.
Despite the storyline’s shift to Rome, President Macron, 46, has expressed his determination to keep “Emily in Paris” rooted in the City of Light. He emphasized the positive impact of the show on the local economy, stating that it is “good for business” and suggested that the narrative departure to Rome “doesn’t make sense”.
