Prime Video is currently airing one of the most anticipated TV shows of the year, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. In addition to this, another exciting series to look forward to is Cross, a crime thriller based on the novels by James Patterson. The series follows the titular detective, Alex Cross, portrayed by Aldis Hodge, as he delves into the minds of both criminals and their victims to apprehend dangerous offenders. The recently released first trailer for Cross portrays Alex Cross facing intense challenges and threats to his family, showcasing the gripping nature of the upcoming series.
Aldis Hodge not only stars in the series but also serves as an executive producer. Cross is created by Ben Watkins, known for his work on Burn Notice and The Hand of God. The series also boasts a strong cast, including Isaiah Mustafa, Stacie Greenwell, Ryan Eggold, Siobhan Murphy, and Ashley Rios in lead and supporting roles.
The first season of Cross will feature a talented lineup of directors. Craig Sebels, known for his work on Blood & Treasure and The Gifted, will be directing three episodes. Additionally, Stacy Muhammad and Nzingha Stewart are set to direct one episode each. While the directors for the remaining episodes are yet to be announced, fans can look forward to an exciting lineup of creative talent. Notably, Muhammad recently directed an episode of the Netflix Original Series, Manifest, while Stewart is recognized for her work on the popular Prime Video show, Daisy Jones & The Six.
