Dwayne Johnson and Oprah Winfrey recently start the help relief campaign for Maui recovery. Many of the region and destroyed many people’s life due to the wildfires incident. They have posted the video on the Instagram to spread the message to help the Maui people by funding them to recover from the losses. In the Video Dwayne and Oprah says it time to do something for the people who are in need. And the first thing is the money and that can be help them to survive in this situation.
According to authorities, the fires resulted in the tragic loss of 115 lives, marking the highest death toll in a wildfire in over a century. The host of The Oprah Winfrey Show stated, “I have been meeting with people throughout the community that were impacted by the fires over the last few weeks, asking what they most needed and how I could be of service.” As per reports the one worry that came up again and again was the financial burden the people of the island will have to carry. The 69-year-old continued, “The community has come together in so many wonderful ways, and my intention is to support those impacted as they determine what rebuilding looks like for them.”
Fund for the Maui people initiated by the Dwayne Johnson and Oprah Winfrey. It is designed to provide the direct financial assistance to those who are affected by the incident and in the various in the Island. To start this campaign Dwayne and Oprah has contributed $10 Million. According to their recent video this initiative will serve as a bridge to provide cash directly to the families and individuals who are affected so they can personally determine how they can utilize this fund for themselves. And also those aged 18 and above, residing within the affected region and displaced by the Lahaina and Kuala wildfires, will qualify to receive a monthly assistance of $1200 to support them during the recovery phase. Dyane and Oprah are giving surety that the 100% fund will be handover directly to the Lahaina residents. They have thanks in advanced that is going to help with the fund.
