Big news for Marvels Fans. Disney launches the Avengers 5 film project and sets a new team of heroes.

The Disney CEO teased what MCU fans should expect from the team leading up to 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Avengers 5 will be the first full game since Avengers: Endgame closed the Infinity Saga in 2019. There are already a lot of jokes about the world’s mightiest heroes once this new movie arrives.

The team is rumored to include Captain America, Shang-Chi, and Shuri’s Black Panther as three of the main players against Kang the Conqueror. However, it is promised that this group will grow in the next two years, especially with the need to report the great loss that is said to happen to one of the people a hero of the Kang Dynasty.

During the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Conference, from the end, Disney CEO Bob Iger briefly discussed what Marvel fans want and what the Avengers will appear in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

The Disney executive explained how Marvel Studios needs to balance beloved characters and introduce new faces, teasing “a lot of new things” in the MCU’s future:

“There’s nothing in any way inherently off in terms of the Marvel brand. I think we just have to look at what characters and stories we’re mining. If you look at the trajectory of Marvel in the next five years, there will be a lot of newnesses.”

Iger touched on the next installment in the Avengers franchise, Avengers 5, announcing that a “new series of Avengers” will begin:

“We’re going to turn back to the Avengers franchise with a whole new set of Avengers, for example.”

Several members of the film’s Avengers lineup were criticized, especially the film’s writer, Jeff Loveness. The author announced that other heroes from Phases 4 and 5 are on his list, specifically talking about Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Letitia Wright’s Black Panther.

“We got Florence Pugh, Jonathan Majors, and Letitia Wright. We’ve got such a deep bench of really good actors. Everyone’s gonna get their chance to shine. I can’t say who. I can’t say when they will shine. But I think we’ve got a deep bench and it’s fun to finally put everybody into the game.”

Loveness also mentioned Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, saying he was “excited” to write for frontman Talokanil.

It is not clear if the Guardians of the Galaxy will end up at the center of the new Avengers novel, although Gunn’s recent comments about the future of Adam Warlock may tease that he may have an important role in the group.

Bob Iger’s jokes should be able to many expectations to see the newest iteration of the avengers in the middle of the stage in Avengers 5. But of course, the question now is who exactly will do it and when the team will be confirmed.

There are still nearly a dozen movies and TV shows coming during Season 5, plus a number more making their debut once Season 6 arrives in 2025.

And although Jeff Loveness revealed that the film may not feature characters like Blade or the Fantastic Four, there are still many other MCU main characters on the table for inclusion. With all the changes that are happening in Marvel Studios, it is possible that Avengers 5 will not appear in theaters until 2025, although the hope is that it will be the successor to the Avengers movie that did it.

Avengers5: The Kang Dynasty is set to release on May 2, 2025.
