Cleveland’s Donna Kelce, a proud mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and recently retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, is stepping into the world of entertainment with cameo appearances in two upcoming Hallmark Christmas movies that have a football theme. In the first movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” there will be a “fan of the year” contest for the team. The second movie, “Christmas on Call,” features a die-hard Eagles fan who helps his love interest get to know Philadelphia. Donna Kelce’s acting debut in these movies marks an exciting new chapter in her life, as she takes on the role of a barbecue restaurant manager in “Holiday Touchdown” and a yet-to-be-disclosed role in “Christmas on Call.”
This news comes on the heels of Travis Kelce’s burgeoning Hollywood career, which includes hosting “Saturday Night Live” and securing acting roles in Ryan Murphy’s “Grotesquerie” and “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” Additionally, Travis earned his first producer credit this year. Meanwhile, Jason Kelce has joined ESPN as an analyst and will also contribute a song to one of his mother’s movies. The song, “Santa Drives an Astrovan,” will feature The Philly Specials, a group consisting of Jason Kelce and Eagles players Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, along with Mt. Joy. This track is part of an upcoming album, the proceeds of which will benefit the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The Kelce brothers have also signed a significant deal with Amazon’s Wondery for their popular “New Heights” podcast. These exciting developments highlight the Kelce family’s diverse talents and growing influence in both sports and entertainment.
