Comparing Hulk to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever raises questions about how powerful Namor is. Played by Tenoch Huerta, the Savage Sub-Mariner was introduced as a true MCU powerhouse in Black Panther 2 when he defeated the Wakandan forces and almost won. Ahead of the big showdown between Shuri and Namor, Marvel has set expectations for how hard it will be to stop him by introducing the Green Goliath himself. When considering how the people of Wakandan will react to Namor’s threat, M’Baku says that the villain is stronger than the Hulk. That’s high praise for any character in the MCU, especially since comic book heroes are often referred to as “the strongest.” However, it’s worth wondering if M’Baku’s assessment of Namor’s power is true or just an exaggeration.
Based on what has been seen so far, it is safe to say that Namor is indeed one of the strongest forces in the MCU. Because of his strength, Namor was forever faster than all the characters in Wakanda. Despite her new Black Panther costume, Shuri is no ordinary match for Namor. He took advantage of Shuri’s weakness to make the villain vulnerable. The way Namor can make quick work of his enemies in the movie is very close to what you would expect from someone like the Hulk, whose strength makes almost anyone around him as helpless. Similar to how things went with Namor (before the final battle), Hulk will not have much difficulty fighting the protagonists of Wakanda forever. Namor has great abilities that would make him a formidable opponent for any MCU hero or villain, Hulk included. A big part of what makes him so dangerous is the fact that Namor’s fighting prowess isn’t defined solely by his incredible strength; he can also fly. The ground will give Namor an edge over many opponents, and the Hulk will rely on brute strength alone.
Given that Namor’s strength seems to match that of his comic stage, it is possible to fight with the Hulk will do in a way that does not match the two battles in the original. Throughout the film, Namor and Hulk have engaged in several slugfests, but the results have not always been the same due to their close power levels. Both essays can win, but who emerges victorious often depends on the situation. When the Hulk’s rage crosses a threshold, for example, even Namor can’t control it. After being separated from Bruce Banner and sent on a rampage in The Incredible Hulk #316, the Hulk defeated a gathering of Marvel Comics heavyweights that included Namor.
As an MCU character, Namor’s effectiveness in battle depends largely on his proximity to water and staying afloat. Even when Namor is not in a weak state, he has lost to the Hulk in the past, although his victories rarely come without a lot of trouble from the Hulk. But after completely submerging them both, Namor was able to gain a decisive victory over the Hulk, as evidenced by his defeat in Avengers #3 and Tales to Astonish #100. Namor the Sub admits in Avengers #3 that the Hulk is “the strongest of all creatures on earth”, and proves by winning their fight that he is the second “superior” fighter after n ‘under power. water.
A real Hulk vs. Namor war in the MCU can go either way (and the Hulk has a little face), but if he will make things stand, the odds will be firmly in the sub’s favor. Considering his strength grows as he becomes more insane, Hulk’s rage has much to do with his advantage against Namor. After all, the cool Hulk is weaker than Namor. He often gets angry as fights go on, but when he finally wins, it’s often what makes those victories possible.
This aspect of his character is important for him to face Namor in the MCU, but it’s not a trait that the current version of the character shares. Anger is no longer part of the equation now that Bruce Banner has control over the Hulk. Because of this, it is difficult to imagine that he is holding back for a long time if they are going to hurt soon. Chances are the Smart Hulk doesn’t have what it takes to take on Namor and claim the winner.
